ABOUT ME
BIO
Passionate, organised, and versatile British/Taiwanese national. Love for storytelling & creative environments. Obsessive organiser. Great multi-tasker. Extrovert who smiles too much. TV show addict. Enjoys challenges. Probably drinks too much coffee (and bubble tea).
With a Taiwanese mom and a British dad, I grew up in a bilingual and multicultural household that taught me to be open-minded and a great communicator. I also moved around a lot as a child, living in Hong Kong, Singapore, England and eventually settling in the Netherlands. I have a BSc in International Business and a MSc in Marketing from Rotterdam School of Management. After my studies, I moved to London where I worked as a PA on short films including “It’s in the Trees”, “Dear Eduardo” and a commercial for P&G Insurance. After that, I moved to Taiwan and worked as a preschool teacher whilst learning more about my Taiwanese background. I often joke that managing a class of 5 year olds was a great way to practice managing a set.
Throughout my nomadic childhood, films and television served as my constant refuge in the ever-changing environments. Intrigued by the raw beauty of real human connections, I became inspired to create films that explore relationships in all their messy glory. To acquire the necessary skills, in 2023 I pursued a specialisation in Producing at the New York Film Academy. During my time in New York, I successfully produced "Unboxed," a short film portraying a daughter's grief, "Sapling," delving into power dynamics in relationships, and a web series capturing a romance between roommates.
I speak fluent English, Chinese (Mandarin), and Dutch. I also speak basic French and am learning Portuguese. I have experience working with Resolve, Avid Media Composer, and Movie Magic. As a creative, I am especially passionate about stories that discuss cultural diversity, grief, and toxic relationships. Currently, I am interested in expanding my experience as a creative producer, 1st AD, director and showrunner.
I am currently located in New York.
I am always interested in finding new collaborators and projects to work on so feel free to contact me with any ideas, projects, or even just for a chat!
